Union University annually sends students to different parts of the world to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ. These Global Opportunities, shortened GO, are a unique way for Union students to put their faith into action. This year, I will be traveling with 7 other students and 2 Union faculty to Tampa, Florida, for a week during Spring Break. We will be connecting with a church there and working with them for much of the week.
My name is Corey, and I've been deemed the official blogger for this trip. I am very excited about the opportunity that we will have to impact the people of Tampa.
This site will be a unique way for me to keep outsiders updated on what's going on during our trip. It will also be a useful tool in reflecting on the work we've done once we return to Tennessee. It's Wednesday, and we're leaving on Saturday morning, so that's when the posts will likely start appearing.
We appreciate any and all prayers for travel safety throughout the trip. Also, we need prayer for courage and strength as we go out into a new community to spread the gospel.
